ABOUT USI RUGBY

USI Rugby Club was founded in 1991 and found tremendous success throughout the club’s history. In 2016, the club placed top 4 in the NSCRO DII National Championship after becoming Midwest Regional Champions. USI Rugby has won multiple Indiana State Championships prior in 2014, 2013, and 2012.

The club now competes in the NCR under the Allegheny Rugby Union Conference in the Small College Division.

Coach`s Welcome

When I first came to USI, the rugby club welcomed me with open arms and I was able to grow into a well-rounded rugby player. Camaraderie and grit are what have defined this club's culture since the '90s. We will continue to build on that culture and pick up where those groups left off. Coaching rugby isn't just about winning or improving their skills, it's about helping them grow as leaders and men so they leave the pitch a better man than when they first stepped foot on it.
