USI Rugby practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the University of Southern Indiana’s Rugby Pitch on Clarke Lane. Come out in athletic clothes and bring cleats, a mouthguard, and a water bottle if you have them. Our structured training and coaching plans will help you learn the sport while having fun with fellow ruggers. Both new and experienced ruggers are encouraged to come out!

Steps Needed for Your First Match
- Complete the player registration form on this page.
- Complete the RFWC Club Sports Waiver on Eaglesync after logging into your MyUSI account.
- To play in NCR-affiliated matches, you must complete your NCR Player Registration. You can either register through NCR’s website by clicking player registration and then selecting USI Rugby as the club. Or, we can register you for NCR by paying through our Club Dues page.
- Gear up! You will need a decent pair of rugby boots – any cleats without a toe cleat will work. A mouthguard is required and a pair of rugby shorts to practice in is highly recommended. World Rugby Shop is a great store to get all the needed equipment, and each purchase made there with the club’s specific code gives 5% back to the club!
- To receive the latest updates from our team, see team photos, and stay connected with fellow USI Rugby Alumni, follow us on social media.

HIGH SCHOOL RECRUITS
USI provides high school recruits to obtain an affordable degree while playing rugby at a competitive collegiate level against schools such as Miami, Xavier, Marshall, WKU, EKU, and more. Academic scholarships and financial aid are both available for prospective athletes through USI’s tremendous opportunities.
While many of our players and alumni come from the Evansville area we encourage those from all over to play rugby. Our club was founded on the belief that rugby is a sport for all and we stand by that statement.
Even if you have never played rugby before, our structured training and practice plans will help you learn the game, develop your skills, and most importantly have fun.
